Hosting resources

How listing works on VirTrav, and what makes a listing perform.

1. Submit your listing

Add your property details, photos, pricing, and house rules. You need a host account — you can pick that when you sign up, or ask us to switch an existing account over.

2. Add a virtual tour

Upload a 360° tour, or paste a link from a provider like Matterport. Listings with a tour convert noticeably better, because guests can check the things photos hide.

3. Wait for review

Every listing is reviewed before it goes live. We check that the details are complete and the tour matches the property. You will see the status on your host dashboard.

4. Get paid

Guests pay on the platform. Payouts are released after check-in, less the VirTrav service fee.

What actually moves bookings

  • Shoot your tour in daylight with curtains open — dim tours read as something being hidden.
  • Tidy and stage each room before capture. The tour is your listing’s first impression.
  • Write the description around what a guest cannot see: noise, stairs, water pressure, parking.
  • Keep your calendar accurate. Cancelling a confirmed booking is the fastest way to lose ranking.
  • Set a realistic cancellation policy — stricter policies convert worse, so only use them if you need them.
